Issues we promote and advocate for:
VOTER & CIVIC AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT:
a. Increase voter turnout among 18+ year olds in marginalized and underserved zip codes and high
schools;
b. Promote civic and voter engagement through awareness of candidates, issues, and voting
information; and
c. Host nonpartisan voter registration drives year-round.
EDUCATIONAL EQUITY
a. Close educational equity gaps to reduce violence and disrupt the school-to-jail pipeline by:
providing mentor and tutoring program services to k-12 students earning a high quality education;
b. Offer scholarships to first-generation high school graduates from low-income families; and
c. Distribute Back to School resources annually to underserved students.
REDUCING RECIDIVISM:
a. Reducing recidivism among those individuals with a moderate to high probability of reoffending
by: facilitating access to essential resources to help them reintegrate into society and
and avoid a return to the criminal justice system;
b. Bible study engagement with Rev. Marshall; and
c. Promote a culture of civic virtue.
